Sahara Iii Kingfisher

Sahara Iii Fabric

Sahara III Kingfisher is a cool, blue-leaning teal with a quiet woven texture that gives the surface gentle variation rather than a flat block of colour. Its restrained finish lets the depth of the shade take centre stage.

About this fabric

Viewed close up, the cloth has a fine, subtly crosshatched weave with softly mottled tonal movement across the kingfisher-blue ground. The colour sits between deep teal and weathered blue, reading calm and collected rather than bright or tropical. Its even surface and apparent mid-weight make it a versatile choice for both upholstery and drapery. The understated texture will add depth to larger upholstered forms without introducing a pronounced pattern.

How to use it

Pair this cool kingfisher teal with pale oak, warm ivory and brushed metal for balance, or use it against charcoal and ink blue for a deeper, more tailored scheme. It would bring controlled colour to a reading chair, headboard, Roman blind or full-length curtain.

Use this softly textured blue-teal cloth to bring cool colour and understated depth to seating, cushions or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
