Sahara Iii Marine

Sahara Iii Fabric

Sahara Iii Marine is a deep marine blue that sits close to charcoal in the low light of the swatch. Its plain surface is enlivened by a restrained, fine woven texture rather than a visible pattern.

About this fabric

The colour reads as a cool, dark blue with softened charcoal depth, giving the cloth a quietly substantial appearance. Fine horizontal and vertical yarn variation creates a close crosshatch effect across the face, while the low contrast keeps the overall look calm. Light catches selected threads gently, preventing the marine tone from appearing completely flat. With its dense-looking, even weave, this colourway is particularly suited to structured upholstered pieces where a dark plain textile can provide depth without introducing a motif.

How to use it

Use Sahara Iii Marine on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its cool, near-charcoal blue can anchor a room. Balance the depth with chalky neutrals, natural oak or softly reflective brass.

Pair this deep marine blue with pale timber, warm neutrals or brushed metal for a composed, contemporary interior.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
