About this fabric

This Kirkby Design fabric is a plain woven textile in a muted terracotta shade, sitting between rust, clay and softened red. Its surface has a fine, even texture rather than a printed motif, with slight tonal variation where the weave catches the light. The supplied catalogue type is Fabric; no composition, width or rub-test specification has been supplied for this colourway. Its visible mid-weight-looking weave makes it suitable to consider for both upholstery and drapery, subject to project-specific testing and requirements.

How to use it

Use the earthy rust tone to warm a neutral room, pairing it with chalky cream, natural timber or deeper brown accents. Its understated plain weave can also balance patterned cushions, blinds or curtains without introducing another motif.

A warm, muted terracotta plain weave that brings earthy colour and subtle surface texture to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
