About this wallpaper

This Kirkby Design wallpaper is coloured in a warm desert beige, sitting between creamy sand and light camel. Fine vertical striations run through the surface, with lightly mottled areas that catch the light and prevent the colour from appearing flat. There is no visible graphic motif; the character comes from the restrained, fabric-like variation in tone and texture. The overall effect is relaxed and quietly tactile, suited to interiors that need warmth without strong pattern.

How to use it

Use Desert across a bedroom, snug or softly lit living space where its warm sandy tone can sit alongside timber, linen and natural stone. It also works as a calm backdrop for darker furniture, allowing the subtle vertical texture to add depth without competing with the room.

Use this warm desert beige to create softly textured, quietly tonal walls in calm, natural interiors.

Pairs well with

Blend Wallcovering Desert is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
