Checkerboard Metallic Wallcovering Panther

Checkerboard Metallic Wallcovering Panther combines deep charcoal-blue blocks with warm bronze-tan squares in a strongly ordered geometric layout. The metallic-looking bronze areas add a subtle glow against the darker, quieter ground.

About this wallpaper

Large rectangular checks form the main rhythm, while narrow grouped stripes interrupt the pattern at regular intervals and give the design its distinctive architectural character. The charcoal sections read as cool, deep blue-grey, contrasting with the warmer bronze-tan squares that appear softly reflective in the image. Its repeated blocks and vertical stripe details create a confident, graphic wall covering with a measured mid-century feel. This colourway is from Kirkby Design’s Wallcoverings Vol 2 collection; no further performance or construction specifications were supplied.

How to use it

Use Panther on a feature wall behind a console, desk or upholstered seating, where the bronze-tan squares can pick up warm timber and brass accents. Balance its strong geometry with charcoal, camel and softly textured neutral furnishings.

Use the bronze-charcoal geometry to create a confident feature wall with a warm metallic lift.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Checkerboard Metallic Wallcovering Panther without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
