About this colour
At #F8F8F8, Shirting is a near-white that reflects a great deal of light while still holding a faint, gentle warmth. In north-facing rooms it can read cooler and slightly cleaner, picking up the room’s blue-grey cast without turning harsh. In south-facing light it feels brighter and more open, with its soft warmth becoming more apparent. It sits easily beside painted joinery, pale oak, and natural linens, and gives a calm backdrop for both muted and deeper upholstery colours.
How to use it
