District - Naturel

Metropolis Fabric3227-01

District in Naturel pairs a pale, warm natural ground with softly defined geometric blocks. Its woven surface gives the light colour gentle depth, while the low contrast keeps the overall impression calm and refined.

About this fabric

The design is formed from irregular rectangular panels, each edged or interrupted by fine linear woven detail that creates a subtle architectural rhythm. In this Naturel colourway, creamy beige and off-white tones sit close together, so the pattern reads as texture and structure rather than a bold graphic. The weave catches the light delicately across the panel borders, adding quiet variation to the otherwise soft, even surface. This mid-weight-looking fabric is well suited to both upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use Naturel to brighten a pared-back sitting room where its warm pale beige tone can soften timber, stone and chalky painted walls. It also works well as relaxed curtains or blinds when a geometric detail is wanted without introducing strong contrast.

The softly contrasting block weave brings quiet architectural structure to upholstery, cushions, curtains or blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
