About this fabric

The colour sits between warm grey and pale stone, with a muted depth rather than a bright or stark finish. Tiny V-shaped marks form a closely spaced bird’s-foot pattern, creating a fine all-over texture that catches the light gently. The dense-looking weave gives this fabric a neat, composed character suited to both upholstery and drapery. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Birds Foot Chalk to bring a calm, lightly structured tone to a neutral sofa, occasional chair or Roman blind. Pair its pale greige colouring with chalk white, natural timber and deeper taupe accents for a softly layered scheme.

Its quiet chalky greige tone and fine repeated texture suit tailored upholstery, cushions and understated window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
