About this fabric

In this Petrole colourway, Helios reads as a deep blue-green, closer to petrol teal than bright turquoise. Its face is visually plain, with fine horizontal variation and a softly brushed, slightly cloudy texture that keeps the dark shade from appearing flat. The dense, opaque appearance makes it read as an upholstery-weight textile, although no composition, width or rub-test data has been supplied. Subtle changes in the surface catch the light as muted streaks across the cloth.

How to use it

Use this deep petrol teal to give an armchair, headboard or sofa a saturated focal colour without introducing a pattern. Its cool blue-green depth works especially well beside warm timber, aged brass and softly contrasting neutral upholstery.

A deep petrol teal with a softly brushed surface and subtle horizontal variation, ideal for richly coloured upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
