About this fabric

The close-up shows the fabric gathered into substantial folds, revealing a glossy nap or finish that shifts between petrol teal, charcoal and near-black. Irregular pale markings run across the surface like worn mineral traces, with some areas appearing softly mottled and others sharply streaked. The combination of dark colour, directional sheen and distressed pattern gives this colourway a richly dramatic, luxe character. Its visible weight and sculptural drape make it particularly convincing for statement upholstery.

How to use it

Pair the cool petrol teal with charcoal, smoked glass and brushed metal for a shadowy contemporary scheme, or lift it with pale stone and silver-grey accents that echo the markings.

Use this deep petrol teal on a statement chair, sofa or ottoman where its glossy, weathered surface can catch the light.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
