Rinaldi Onyx
Rinaldi Fabric
Rinaldi Onyx has a dramatic charcoal-and-black ground with a distressed, irregular grid that shifts visibly across the folded surface. Its plush pile catches the light along the raised folds, creating a deep, softly reflective finish.

About this fabric
The pattern combines broken linear intersections with mottled, painterly marks, giving the black colourway a weathered architectural character rather than a clean geometric look. Charcoal highlights emerge across the surface and soften the contrast, while the darker recesses add substantial visual depth. The visible pile and rounded folds suggest a weighty textile suited to upholstery. No composition, width or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.
How to use it
Use Rinaldi Onyx on a statement armchair, sofa or ottoman where its near-black tone can anchor a room. Pair it with warm timber, aged metal and restrained grey or stone accents to draw out the charcoal variation without competing with the distressed motif.
A dark, plush-looking upholstery textile whose charcoal-grey highlights bring definition to the distressed grid pattern.
Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Rinaldi Onyx without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
