Salem Fabric

Salem Seaglass has a pale, cool aqua-grey ground with a finely crossed woven surface. Subtle vertical and horizontal threads give the swatch a softly irregular, natural texture without a bold motif.

About this fabric

The colour sits between misted blue-green and light grey, giving it a distinctly cool, tranquil appearance rather than a warm neutral character. Fine linear threads run in both directions across the surface, creating a delicate crosshatch and gently varied depth as the light moves over it. Its understated texture keeps the design relaxed and tactile while remaining visually quiet. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair Salem Seaglass with chalky whites, pale oak and brushed metal for a light coastal scheme, or use it against deeper blue-greens to draw out its cool aqua undertone. Its fine woven texture is suited to softly tailored seating, cushions and relaxed window treatments.

Use its cool seaglass cast to bring a quiet, airy softness to upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
