About this fabric

This colourway reads as a rich blue-green softened almost to charcoal, giving the cloth a distinctly cool, shadowed depth. The fine, even surface visible across the flatter areas is plain and discreet, with no motif competing with the tone. Its lightweight-looking cloth falls into fluid folds and narrow ripples, making the depth of colour shift subtly between illuminated ridges and dark recesses. The result is a restrained, atmospheric fabric suited to drapery where the colour and movement of the cloth provide the visual interest.

How to use it

Use Rouen Royal for full-length curtains in a dark, tailored room, where its near-black teal tone can sit against pale stone, warm timber or brushed metal. The fluid folds will add softness without introducing a pattern.
