Rouen Ii Azure

Rouen Fabric

Rouen Ii Azure has a deep blue-green teal tone that shifts towards charcoal in the shaded folds of the photographed cloth. Its quiet, unpatterned surface lets the gathered drape create the visual movement.

About this fabric

This Warwick Rouen colourway is a plain textile in a cool, heavily shaded teal, with lighter blue-green highlights appearing across the raised folds. The close, fine surface texture is visible without a pronounced motif or decorative repeat. Its fluid handle is shown in the way the fabric gathers into long, soft ridges rather than holding crisp edges. In the deepest creases, Azure reads almost charcoal-green, giving the colourway a moody depth.

How to use it

Use Azure for full-length curtains or relaxed Roman blinds in rooms with pale stone, smoked timber and brushed metal, allowing its cool teal depth to anchor the scheme.

Use this deep, cool teal at the window to create a calm, shadowy backdrop with softly moving folds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
