Danube Stripe Dove

Danube Fabric

Danube Stripe Dove combines a pale dove-grey linen ground with gently wavering charcoal-grey stripes. The close-up shows a naturally textured weave whose subtle irregularity softens the linear pattern.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% linen and approximately 137cm wide, Danube Stripe Dove is supplied for curtain use. Its cool grey-on-grey palette has a quiet, light-catching quality, with darker stripe lines giving the fabric measured definition without a stark contrast. The undulating vertical bands bring movement to the surface, while the visible linen slub keeps the overall impression relaxed and tactile. After-care is dry clean.

How to use it

Hang Danube Stripe Dove as full-length curtains in a cool neutral room, pairing the dove-grey ground with chalky whites, pale stone and charcoal accents. The softly moving stripes work especially well where a straight architectural line would feel too rigid.

Use this softly striped dove-grey linen for calm, light-filtering curtains with a natural finish.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Danube Stripe Dove without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
