About this fabric

Woven from 100% linen, Elba Slate has a subtle fine-grained texture rather than a printed motif. Its cool slate shade has a restrained blue-green cast in the lighter folds, while the recessed areas read as deep grey with a charcoal undertone. Approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery at General Domestic grade. Allow 3% shrinkage; after-care is Delicate Wash 30C or Dry Clean.

How to use it

Use Elba Slate to upholster a domestic armchair or sofa where its blue-grey depth can anchor softer neutrals, or make curtains that pick up the swatch’s lighter silvery highlights. Pair it with warm timber and pale stone to balance the cool slate tone.
