Elba Midnight

Elba FabricLF2282C

Elba Midnight is a dark, cool-toned linen with a blue-charcoal depth that shifts subtly across the swatch as the woven surface catches the light. Its plain face is enlivened by a fine, clearly visible textile grain rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% linen, Elba Midnight has a closely textured plain weave in a deep midnight blue that reads almost charcoal in its darkest areas. The understated variation across the swatch gives the colourway depth while retaining a clean, pattern-free appearance. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, with a General Domestic upholstery grade. Allow 3% shrinkage; after-care is a delicate wash at 30C or dry cleaning.

How to use it

Pair this cool midnight blue with pale stone, chalky grey or warm timber for contrast, or use it with charcoal tones for a quieter, enveloping scheme. It is well suited to full-length curtains and tailored fixed upholstery where its fine linen texture can remain visible.

Use this deep midnight blue linen to bring cool, tailored depth to curtains, occasional seating and fixed upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
