About this fabric

Woven from 100% linen, Elba Hemp has a quiet, tactile surface where the fine weave remains visible across its pale hemp-coloured ground. Its light greige tone sits between soft stone and washed sage, with the folded swatch catching brighter ivory along the raised areas. At approximately 137cm wide, it is suitable for curtains and general domestic fixed upholstery. Allow 3% shrinkage; care is Delicate Wash at 30C or Dry Clean.

How to use it

Use Elba Hemp for full, softly gathered curtains in rooms with oak, chalky walls or aged stone, where its muted greige-green tone can read warm in daylight and cooler in shadow. It also brings a restrained natural finish to fixed seating against cream, putty or deeper olive accents.

Its softly weathered greige tone and visible linen weave suit relaxed curtains, fixed upholstery and calm neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
