About this fabric

The close plain weave combines a soft greige ground with fine tonal variation, creating a lightly mottled appearance rather than a flat solid colour. The 137cm-wide fabric is made from 30% linen, 19% wool, 19% polyester, 15% cotton, 12% viscose and 5% nylon. It is suitable for curtains and fixed upholstery, with Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades supplied. After-care is dry clean only.

How to use it

Use Yorkstone on a relaxed sofa, dining chair or upholstered headboard where its warm-grey stone tone can soften darker timber and charcoal accents. It also works as quietly textured curtains alongside oatmeal, chalk and muted olive furnishings.

A softly textured stone neutral for relaxed upholstery, tailored curtains and calm, layered interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
