Freya Butterscotch is a softly textured, semi-plain weave in a pale warm beige with a subtle golden butterscotch cast. Fine ivory and oat-coloured threads create a lightly flecked surface rather than a completely flat plain.

About this fabric

The close irregular weave combines warm beige, cream and muted golden fibres, giving this colourway a gently sunlit depth that shifts softly across the surface. Its blend contains 30% linen, 19% wool, 19% polyester, 15% cotton, 12% viscose and 5% nylon. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, with Contract and General Domestic grading. After-care is dry clean.

How to use it

Use this warm butterscotch neutral on relaxed upholstered seating or full-length curtains, pairing it with chalky whites, natural timber and deeper caramel accents to bring out the weave’s golden flecks.

The warm butterscotch-beige weave brings gentle texture to curtains, fixed upholstery and relaxed neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
