Maypole Dandelion

Small Prints FabricLF2342C

Maypole Dandelion pairs a warm dandelion-yellow repeat with a soft cream ground, creating a bright, easygoing interpretation of this small geometric print. Irregular wavy bands link the pattern across the face, with fine dark dot clusters adding definition.

About this fabric

The design is formed from mustard-yellow, undulating ribbons around cream abstract panels, each punctuated by small charcoal-grey dotted marks. The printed linen face has a subtly natural, lightly mottled appearance visible beneath the crisp repeat, while the yellow reads warm and sunny rather than sharp or lemon-bright. Made from 100% linen, the fabric is approximately 137cm wide and is suitable for curtains and general domestic fixed upholstery. Allow 3% shrinkage; after-care is a delicate wash at 30°C or dry cleaning.

How to use it

Use Maypole Dandelion for relaxed curtains in a cream or warm-white room, or on a domestic chair where its sunny yellow bands can energise quieter neutral upholstery. Repeat the charcoal-grey dots in small accents for a connected scheme without competing with the pattern.

Use the warm yellow and cream repeat to bring a sunny, informal note to curtains or domestic upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
