Timeless Textures Fabric

Sidewalk Fossil is shown here in a pale taupe-beige colourway with a finely textured, repeating geometric weave. Its softly mottled surface gives the light neutral tone subtle depth rather than a flat appearance.

About this fabric

The small pattern is formed from closely spaced stepped rectangles and short linear marks, creating a delicate woven rhythm across the surface. Pale taupe threads are varied with slightly lighter and darker flecks, so the cloth reads warm, muted and gently dimensional. The compact motif remains low contrast, allowing the texture to be noticed at close range without dominating the overall colour. With its balanced mid-scale visual weight, this textile is suited to either upholstery or drapery applications.

How to use it

Use Sidewalk Fossil to soften a room built around chalky whites, warm stone and pale timber, or pair it with deeper taupe accents for more definition. Its quiet stepped weave would work well on an occasional chair, headboard or full-length curtain.

A quietly textured pale taupe for softly coordinated upholstery, curtains and layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
