Tosca Carnelian

Timeless Textures Fabric

Tosca Carnelian has the earthy warmth of fired clay, combining russet-brown depth with a softly softened terracotta tone. The close-up swatch reveals a compact woven surface with quiet, all-over texture rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a warm, clay-like terracotta, with a dusky russet cast that keeps it grounded rather than bright or orange. The visible surface is tightly woven and finely pebbled, formed by tiny irregular yarn marks that create gentle tonal variation across the cloth. Its restrained pattern and tactile finish make it well suited to upholstered furniture where colour and texture should work together without competing for attention. No composition, width, rub test or other performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Tosca Carnelian to bring a grounded, sun-warmed note to an armchair, sofa or headboard, pairing its russet terracotta tone with aged wood, warm neutrals and muted creams.

A warm, tactile terracotta weave for upholstered pieces that benefit from subtle surface interest.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
