Plush Burnt Sienna
Timeless Velvets Velvet
Plush Burnt Sienna is a deep, warm velvet with the earthy intensity of fired terracotta. Its softly shaded surface catches the light in subtle shifts, giving the plain colour a sense of depth.

About this fabric
This catalogued velvet has a dense-looking, plush surface with a gently irregular nap visible across the swatch. The burnt sienna tone sits between deep red, rust and brown, reading warm and saturated rather than bright. Fine changes in the pile create darker and lighter patches across the otherwise plain ground, adding quiet movement without a motif. As a velvet, it is naturally suited to upholstery where its tactile surface and rich colour can be seen at close range.
How to use it
Use this warm burnt sienna on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard, pairing it with aged timber, dark metal and softened neutrals to balance its depth. It also brings a cocooning, jewel-like warmth to reading corners and intimate seating areas.
Use this deep burnt sienna velvet to bring warm, enveloping colour and plush texture to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with
Plush Burnt Sienna is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
