Epoque Moonrock

Timeless Velvets Velvet

Epoque Moonrock is a pale, understated velvet with the quiet neutrality of weathered stone. Its even surface carries a gentle tonal variation that keeps the colour from appearing flat.

About this fabric

The swatch reads as a soft moonrock taupe, sitting between cool grey and warm beige rather than leaning strongly towards either. Its velvet surface appears finely even, with a subdued nap that catches the light as a restrained, diffuse sheen. With no motif visible, the interest comes from the slight mottling and depth within this calm, stone-like colourway. As a velvet, it is particularly suited to upholstered furniture where its tactile finish can be appreciated.

How to use it

Use Epoque Moonrock on a reading chair, sofa or headboard in rooms layered with chalky walls, pale oak and brushed metal; its muted taupe tone also softens darker walnut and charcoal accents.

A softly shaded moonrock taupe velvet for elegant upholstery, pairing easily with warm neutrals, stone and muted metallics.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
