About this fabric

The design is arranged as repeated oval floral medallions, framed by curling foliage, fine pale linework and pointed leafy flourishes. Leaf green provides the main depth, while the sky-blue ground keeps the colourway light and cool; yellow flower-like accents add a restrained lift rather than a dominant contrast. At 265gsm with 35.6 threads per cm, the fabric has a substantial mid-weight presence, and its 141cm usable width accommodates the 65.5cm vertical by 47cm horizontal repeat. The standard length is 60m, making the detailed pattern practical to handle across a larger furnishing scheme.

How to use it

Use the cool sky-blue ground on a reading-room chair, bench or full-length curtains, then echo the leaf green in plain cushions or painted joinery. Small touches of muted yellow will pick up the floral accents without overpowering the intricate repeat.

A cool, finely detailed botanical repeat that brings pale sky blue, leaf green and yellow accents to upholstery or drapery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Merton Leaf Green/Sky without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
