Willow Boughs Leaf Green

Willow Boughs Leaf Green shows a dense field of winding leafy stems in varied greens over a softly warm cream ground. The close-set foliage creates an enveloping, garden-like surface rather than an open, widely spaced motif.

About this fabric

The colourway combines fresh leaf green with deeper olive-green accents, while the cream ground keeps the overall effect light and clearly defined. Its 45.7cm vertical repeat and 27.4cm horizontal repeat make the foliage read as a continuous pattern across the cloth. At 262gsm with 35.8 threads per cm, it has a substantial mid-weight handle suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. The 137.2cm usable width provides practical coverage for furnishing projects.

How to use it

Use the cream ground to brighten windows or a reading chair, then echo the cooler leaf green in plain cushions, painted timber or muted green walls. The darker foliage details can provide a gentle contrast against natural wood and warm neutral upholstery.

Use the leafy green and cream palette to bring patterned interest to curtains, blinds, occasional seating or cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Willow Boughs Leaf Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
