About this colour

This shade sits in the middle of the brown family, with a soft ochre undertone that keeps it from feeling muddy. In #A37D4E it reflects light gently rather than bouncing it back, so it will make a room feel more enclosed and intimate than a pale neutral. In a north-facing room it can look deeper and cooler, with the earthiness becoming quieter.
