Donegal - Bark

Misc Fabric

Donegal in Bark is a deep brown textile with the earthy, varied appearance of weathered wood or tree bark. Its close-up surface shows a fine, softly nubby texture rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

This colourway combines dark chocolate-brown and bark-like charcoal tones, with tiny warmer flecks creating subtle visual depth across the face. The dense, lightly irregular weave gives the swatch a tactile, softly brushed impression. No further composition, width or performance specification is supplied for this fabric, so its visible colour and texture are the clearest guides. As a catalogued fabric rather than wallpaper, its substantial-looking surface is particularly well suited to upholstered furniture.

How to use it

Use Donegal - Bark on an armchair, sofa or dining seat where its deep earthy brown can anchor lighter oak, stone, cream and muted rust tones. The gently mottled face will add depth without introducing a strong pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
