About this fabric

The checked design combines broad taupe and olive blocks with lighter cream and blue-grey bands, while ochre stripes and fine pink-red lines add definition across the weave. The close-up image shows a subtly napped, textural surface rather than a flat printed finish, giving the intersecting lines a softened, blended appearance. The muted yellow and pink accents remain restrained against the earthy ground, making the colourway feel warm without becoming bright. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe-and-olive plaid on a relaxed armchair, sofa or window treatment, pairing it with chalky creams, aged wood and small accents of dusty pink or ochre. The blue-grey checks can also link it to cooler stone and slate tones.

A softly weathered plaid that brings layered olive, taupe, cream, ochre, blue-grey and pink tones to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
