Herringbone - Ochre

Misc Fabric

Herringbone - Ochre has a warm, earthy presence, with fine chevron columns woven in ochre, brown and darker threads. Its close-up texture gives the colourway a softly mottled depth rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric

The narrow herringbone is clearly defined across the surface, creating a repeated V-shaped rhythm that reads as tailored and quietly directional. Ochre forms the dominant tone, warmed by brown and charcoal-like flecks that deepen the weave and temper its brightness. The dense woven appearance suggests a substantial upholstery cloth, particularly suited to chairs, headboards and compact seating where the small-scale pattern can be seen at close range. No composition, width, rub test or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Pair the warm ochre-brown tone with aged timber, tobacco leather and muted neutrals for an earthy scheme, or use it to add restrained pattern to a tailored armchair or dining seat.

Use this warm, finely patterned ochre weave to bring subtle movement and earthy depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
