About this fabric

The close-set chevron weave shifts subtly between pale taupe, warm grey and deeper flecks, creating the softened, mineral quality suggested by its Silt name. Light catches the angled yarns differently across the surface, so the fabric reads as quietly textured rather than flat. The small-scale herringbone is neat and consistent, giving the cloth a tailored appearance well suited to upholstery. No performance features or further specification data were supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Silt on a compact sofa, dining chair or footstool where its warm taupe-grey tone can sit comfortably with natural timber, chalky walls and deeper brown accents. Its restrained pattern works particularly well with plain linens and softly coloured upholstery nearby.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
