About this fabric
The fabric’s narrow herringbone lines run in repeated vertical columns, creating a controlled rhythm rather than a bold oversized pattern. Rust and deep brown threads intermingle across the weave, giving the colourway a shaded, autumnal depth instead of a flat orange tone. Its close-textured surface reads as substantial and upholstery-friendly, while the fine chevrons retain a neat, refined appearance. Viewed across the swatch, the darker threads add definition to the pattern and help the warm rust shade feel grounded.
How to use it
Use this deep rust-brown colourway on a reading chair, bench or compact sofa where its fine vertical herringbone can add structure without dominating the room. Pair it with tobacco leather, aged timber, warm cream or muted olive accents to bring out its earthy depth.
Its warm rust-brown ground and tailored herringbone texture bring depth to upholstered seating and occasional pieces.

Pairs well with
Herringbone - Rust is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
