About this fabric

The design is formed from broad checks and narrower intersecting bands, with the darker plum-grey lines giving the pattern definition against softened aqua, cream and lilac blocks. Its close, brushed-looking weave slightly diffuses the edges of each check, so the colour reads as layered rather than sharply graphic. The Heather colourway is cool and subdued, with teal providing the clearest note of colour while cream lifts the overall ground. No composition, width or rub-test specification is supplied, and no performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Heather on a relaxed occasional chair, bench or pair of curtains where its cool teal and lilac tones can be balanced with chalky cream, weathered timber and soft grey. The medium-scale plaid also works well as a measured accent against plain upholstery in plum-grey or muted aqua.

A softly brushed, multi-coloured plaid that brings muted teal, lilac, cream and grey together with an easy lived-in feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
