Halsey Amazon

Alston Fabric

Halsey Amazon is a deep charcoal textile enlivened by fine teal and pale threads across its closely textured surface. The irregular woven marks create subtle movement without forming a distinct motif.

About this fabric

This small-scale woven texture combines graphite, charcoal and soft grey threads with intermittent turquoise-teal flecks. Broken horizontal lines and nubby crosswise marks give the surface a lightly rugged, tactile appearance, while the dark ground keeps the overall effect composed and sophisticated. The colour reads cool and atmospheric, with the teal catching the eye in scattered flashes rather than appearing as a solid field. No performance features, composition, width or other specification data are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Halsey Amazon on a tailored armchair, sofa or occasional seat where its charcoal depth can anchor a room. Pick up the scattered teal with small accents, while pale grey or stone surrounding pieces will bring out the lighter woven flecks.

A charcoal-and-teal texture for tailored upholstery with a quietly graphic finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
