About this fabric

The dark ground is broken by fine silver-grey and mid-grey threads, creating a densely mottled effect rather than a flat plain. Short horizontal and block-like marks run across the surface in an irregular woven pattern, with no single motif dominating the design. This charcoal colourway reads cool and architectural, while the varied texture prevents it from appearing stark or uniformly black. Its substantial-looking, closely textured surface makes it especially well suited to upholstered seating and headboards.

How to use it

Use Halsey Anthracite on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its cool charcoal depth can anchor a room. Balance the dark tone with chalky walls, light oak and warm ivory textiles.

Pair this cool charcoal textile with pale woods, brushed metal and soft grey upholstery accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
