Sylvan Charcoal

Cubis Fabric

Sylvan Charcoal brings a composed, graphic rhythm to the Cubis collection, with vertical bands of charcoal, grey, taupe, cream and warm white. Its fine woven texture softens the contrast between the stripes while retaining a tailored appearance.

About this fabric

This colourway is built from alternating narrow and broad vertical stripes, with deep charcoal and mid-grey bands set against warm taupe, cream and soft white. The visible weave is fine and even, adding a subtle horizontal grain across the stronger vertical pattern. The balanced neutral palette reads cool in its darker bands but is warmed by the taupe and creamy sections, giving the design more depth than a simple monochrome stripe. No composition, width, rub test or additional performance feature has been supplied for this exact fabric, so those details should be confirmed before ordering.

How to use it

Use Sylvan Charcoal to introduce structured vertical movement to a room with pale walls and warm timber, or let its charcoal bands anchor cream upholstery and soft taupe accessories.

Use the charcoal and warm neutral stripe to bring tailored contrast to light upholstery, curtains or layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
