About this fabric
The colour reads as a subdued blue with a slightly smoky cast rather than a bright or saturated tone. A dense field of fine vertical and horizontal threads creates the visible crosshatch, adding gentle variation across the otherwise plain surface. Subtle changes in the blue make the cloth appear lightly textured and softly dimensional as the light moves over it. With no separate printed motif visible, the character comes from the woven structure and restrained tonal contrast.
