About this fabric

The fabric has a subtle plain-weave texture, formed by tiny, regular threads that give the otherwise quiet surface a gentle grain. Its French blue tone is softened rather than saturated, shifting towards a cool blue-grey where the light falls across the cloth. The even weave and fine appearance make it best suited to light, fluid drapery rather than a visually heavy upholstery treatment. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this pale French blue with chalky whites, soft greys and pale timber for an airy scheme, or use it to cool a room with warmer neutral furnishings. At a window, its fine texture will add interest without competing with patterned pieces.

Use this cool, pale blue at windows to bring a quiet, finely textured finish to the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
