Obie Mango

Elson Fabric

Obie Mango brings fine, closely spaced stripes in warm mango orange and cream to the softly layered bedroom shown here. Its gentle colour contrast reads as warm and quietly graphic rather than bold.

About this fabric

The image shows a narrow horizontal stripe, with mango-orange lines alternating against a soft cream ground. The fine cloth falls into relaxed folds across the bed and cushions, allowing the stripes to bend subtly with the surface rather than appearing rigid. The warm, slightly earthy orange gives the colourway more depth than a clear yellow, while the cream keeps the overall effect light. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Pair Obie Mango with ivory upholstery, pale timber and warm neutral bedding to echo the cream ground while letting the mango stripes provide a restrained terracotta-like accent. It also suits cushions or softly draped treatments where the fine lines can follow the folds.

Use the warm mango stripe to bring gentle colour and tailored rhythm to upholstery, cushions or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
