Aru Chalk

Elva Fabric

Aru Chalk is an almost-white textile with a restrained chalk cast. Across the swatch, a fine vertical-and-horizontal weave creates a quiet, softly tactile surface rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

The pale ground reads as chalk white with a slight cool-grey veil, while the close weave gives the surface delicate tonal variation as it catches the light. Its fine, lightweight appearance makes it a natural drapery choice rather than an upholstery-led cloth. No composition, width, rub test or performance specification is supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use the near-white Chalk shade for curtains or blinds where a room needs a light, softly textured finish without a strong pattern. Its muted tone works particularly well alongside pale neutrals and cool whites.

A near-white, finely textured cloth for light, understated curtains and soft window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
