Mikado Wallcovering Fog

Mikado Wallcovering Fog pairs a pale, cool grey-green ground with airy white buds carried on slender taupe and olive-toned branches. The open botanical arrangement gives the colourway a light, quietly atmospheric feel.

About this wallpaper

As a wallpaper, Mikado Wallcovering Fog is defined by its delicate branching pattern rather than a heavy or densely filled repeat. Soft white, elongated buds stand clearly against the subdued grey-green background, while the fine taupe stems add gentle warmth and definition. The restrained contrast keeps the design calm and misty, with enough branching movement to add interest across a wall.

How to use it

Use this foggy grey-green colourway in a bedroom, entrance hall or relaxed sitting room where its white buds can brighten the walls without introducing a strong accent colour. Pair it with chalky whites, pale timber and muted taupe upholstery to echo the stems.

Use this cool, softly muted botanical wallpaper to bring quiet movement to bedrooms, hallways or calm living spaces.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Mikado Wallcovering Fog without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
