Areca Wallcovering Magnet

Areca Wallcovering Magnet brings a layered palm-leaf design into focus through a cool magnet-grey ground and softly contrasting taupe foliage. The dense arrangement has a tactile, painterly quality in this colourway.

About this wallpaper

This wallpaper pairs a blue-leaning grey background with muted taupe palm fronds, creating a restrained contrast rather than a bright botanical statement. Large fan-shaped leaves overlap across the surface, with fine, broken outlines that give the pattern a weathered, hand-rendered appearance. The grey tone lends the design a calm, slightly mineral mood, while the taupe detailing adds warmth and depth. It is a particularly balanced interpretation of the Areca design, with the foliage clearly defined but softened by the subdued palette.

How to use it

Use this cool grey and taupe colourway on a feature wall behind a bed or seating area, then repeat its warm taupe notes in upholstery, timber or lighting. Its muted contrast also works well across a full room where a quieter botanical backdrop is wanted.

Pair the cool magnet-grey ground with warm taupe furnishings to soften its graphic palm-leaf movement.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Areca Wallcovering Magnet without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
