Wild Garden Mandarin

Gardenia Fabric

Wild Garden Mandarin layers softened teal and mandarin brush-like marks over an airy ivory ground. Its lightly blurred pattern and fine woven-looking texture give the colourway a relaxed, painterly character.

About this fabric

The design is made up of irregular, softened blocks and vertical marks, with cool teal and blue-green passages punctuated by small, warm mandarin accents. Against the pale ivory background, the colours look gently washed rather than sharply saturated, creating a light and quietly varied surface. The close image also shows a fine crosshatched texture across the cloth, which adds subtle depth to the otherwise blurred pattern. No composition, width or rub-test specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use this ivory-led colourway to brighten relaxed seating or full-length curtains, then pick out its mandarin notes in cushions or smaller accents while echoing the teal with blue-green accessories.

Pair the warm mandarin accents with natural woods and the cooler teal marks with soft blue-green accessories.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
