Lyall Silver

Okari Fabric

Lyall Silver presents a pale, cool silver-grey ground with a closely woven surface of delicate vertical striations. Subtle tonal variation gives the cloth a lightly heathered appearance rather than a flat solid finish.

About this fabric

The visible weave is fine and linear, with narrow ivory-grey and silver threads creating gentle depth across the surface. Its cool colouring stays bright and reflective, while the irregular vertical texture prevents the shade from feeling stark. There is no printed motif; the character comes entirely from the woven striation and softly tactile finish. As supplied, no composition, width, rub test or performance specification is noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Lyall Silver to keep a room light and quietly tailored, pairing its cool grey tone with chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal. Its restrained vertical texture can bring interest to plain upholstery or full-length curtains without introducing a strong pattern.

A cool silver-grey weave with fine vertical texture, suited to calm contemporary upholstery and drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
