About this fabric

The image shows an even woven surface rather than a printed motif, with delicate vertical striations running through the blue-grey ground. Small shifts between steel blue and lighter grey catch the light across the cloth, creating depth without a strong pattern. The close, consistent weave appears versatile for upholstery or drapery, although no composition, width or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway. Its muted tone feels calm and sophisticated, avoiding the brighter, more saturated quality of a clear blue.

How to use it

Use Okero Steel Blue on a compact sofa, headboard or full-length curtain where its cool grey undertone can balance warm oak, ivory and soft stone shades. Brushed metal and pale neutral upholstery will emphasise its restrained, tailored mood.

Use this cool, greyed blue as a refined upholstery or drapery base alongside pale timber, chalky neutrals and brushed metal.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
