Shiri Twilight

Ottavia Fabric

Shiri Twilight layers charcoal grey with pale, silvery thread highlights in a densely woven pattern of small, curved marks. Its cool, shadowed colour gives the surface a quietly graphic character.

About this fabric

The close view shows a tightly textured textile covered in overlapping, comma-like and feathered forms rather than a large repeating motif. Charcoal and deep graphite tones dominate, while lighter grey threads catch across the raised-looking pattern to create subtle movement. The overall effect is cool, muted and richly layered, with more visual depth than a flat plain weave. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Shiri Twilight on an armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its cool charcoal ground can anchor pale woods, brushed metal and soft grey furnishings. Keep surrounding patterns restrained so the fine all-over texture remains visible.

Use this charcoal-grey textile to add finely textured depth to contemporary upholstery and occasional chairs.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Shiri Twilight without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
