About this fabric

The pattern is built from intersecting rectangular checks, with slim and broad bands shifting across the surface rather than forming a rigid, uniform grid. Its sorbet palette is muted rather than sugary: dusty blush and pale cream soften the deeper charcoal and blue-grey, while olive ochre adds a dry, earthy note. The visible surface has a subtle woven grain that gently breaks up the colour blocks and gives the plaid a tactile, crafted character. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Lavin Sorbet to add colour and graphic definition to a relaxed tailored chair or sofa, then pick up its dusty blush and cream with plain cushions. Its charcoal and olive accents also make it a considered choice for softly patterned curtains in a neutral room.

Use this softly coloured plaid to bring tailored structure and gentle contrast to seating, cushions or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
