Escher Lovage

Sarouk Fabric

Escher Lovage presents an interlocking geometric pattern in a subdued lovage-olive green, traced with softly contrasting ivory lines. The tonal palette keeps the design graphic without making it feel stark.

About this fabric

The olive ground has a muted, earthy depth, while the ivory linear marks form repeating angular cube shapes across the surface. Within each shape, the lines change direction, creating a subtle sense of movement and dimensionality. The restrained contrast gives this colourway a quieter, more softened character than a high-contrast geometric. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair the softened olive and ivory palette with warm timber, natural stone and cream upholstery for an understated, tailored scheme. Its directional geometry would also suit a neat blind or full-length curtain where the repeating pattern can read clearly.

Use the earthy lovage-olive ground to bring a softly graphic, tailored accent to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
