Sarouk Teak

Sarouk Fabric

Sarouk Teak brings a bold, repeating geometric rhythm to the surface, combining charcoal and blue-grey zigzags with small ochre diamond details. The chalk-toned ground keeps the colourway light while the distressed texture adds visual depth.

About this fabric

Large interlocking triangles and diamond shapes form a regular ikat-inspired pattern across Sarouk Teak. Its palette moves between soft chalk, pale blue-grey, deeper charcoal grey and muted ochre, creating a warm, weathered contrast rather than a bright graphic effect. The surface visibly has a broken, tactile-looking texture that softens the precision of the geometry. This is catalogued as a fabric, with no performance features noted.

How to use it

Use Sarouk Teak to bring structure and gentle warmth to a pale room: it would suit a statement chair, blind or curtain paired with chalk walls, charcoal accents and natural timber. The muted ochre diamonds can be echoed in cushions or smaller decorative details.

Pair the chalk ground and muted ochre accents with warm woods, soft grey upholstery and tailored forms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
